Terms of Use
Last updated June 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of Unicron, a native Mac app made by Konigi (Michael Angeles). By downloading or using Unicron, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Your license to use the app
Unicron is licensed to you, not sold. I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app, or try to reverse-engineer it except where the law says you can't be stopped from doing so.
What you need to run it
Unicron runs on Apple Silicon Macs and depends on tools you bring yourself: the Claude command-line tool and a paid Claude plan from Anthropic. Those are your responsibility, under Anthropic's own terms and pricing. Unicron's AI features won't work without them, and I can't control or guarantee Anthropic's service.
Payment and refunds
Unicron is pay-what-you-want — you choose what to pay, including nothing. Checkout and payment are handled by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Your payment is with them, under Lemon Squeezy's terms.
If something goes wrong with a payment or you'd like a refund, email hello@konigi.com and I'll sort it out with you.
Your notes are yours
Unicron works with markdown files on your own Mac. You own your notes, and nothing in these terms gives me any claim to them. How your data is handled is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't use Unicron to break the law or to interfere with the app's security or other people's use of it.
The app is provided "as is"
I work hard to make Unicron good, but it comes without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Unicron is provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of your notes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Konigi and Michael Angeles won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Unicron, including lost data or lost profits. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
I may update the app and these terms over time. When the terms change, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Unicron after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
